X-Builder

X-Builder is our custom designed software platform designed to efficiently deliver mobile content, regardless of device. It has been developed over the last eight years and has been used to deploy numerous mobile sites and portals. It is a stable and proven technology that currently has processed over 100,000,000 web pages. Handset Profile Library

The vast majority of handsets currently in use in the world are fully supported on the X-Builder platform. This is accomplished through an extensive handset profile library that defines the characteristics of each handset. X-Builder uses these profiles to determine what content can be presented to the device. As new devices are launched, the library is automatically updated with new profiles. In the unlikely event a new device is discovered for which no profile can be found, the platform will alert our service desk and the profile is immediately added. At the moment there are over 4000 devices registered in the profile library.

Transcoding Engine

This component of X-Builder includes servers for streaming video over CDMA (2000 1x, EV-DO), WCDMA, GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA mobile networks. Video files from virtually any format can be transcoded by the server – this way; it’s always ready for streaming on demand or published in a supported download format. Video and multimedia content are important to mobile users. We make sure your site delivers.

Content Management Module
This module is used to update content from a web-based interface. It allows our service desk or other trained individuals to rapidly make changes or additions to your published content. This module supports versions and rollback capabilities. Training on how to perform content updates using the Content Management Module are provided upon request. This integrated component manages the download of content from a mobile site to a handset - such as:

Billing Engine
